An Enugu Air aircraft on Thursday skidded off the runway while landing at Benin Airport, Edo State, causing a temporary disruption to flight operations.
The airline, in a statement, confirmed the incident, describing it as a runway excursion. It assured the public that all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated without injuries or fatalities.
According to the airline, the aircraft has been secured, while the relevant aviation authorities have been notified in line with established safety procedures.

The airline reaffirmed that the safety of its passengers, crew members, and operations remains its highest priority, while stating that it is cooperating fully with the relevant aviation authorities investigating the cause of the runway excursion.
