Popular Yoruba actor Adewale Michael Alebiosu has recounted the unusual experiences he said influenced his decision to return to Christianity after reconnecting with Islam.
The actor made the revelation during an interview with Biola Adebayo on Talk-To-B, where he discussed his childhood, religious background and spiritual journey.
Alebiosu said he was born into a Muslim family but later converted to Christianity after what he described as a personal encounter with Jesus.
According to him, his mother was unhappy with his decision and became angry, prompting him to stop attending church and return to Islam.
He said he subsequently began worshipping with NASFAT at Jankara Agbado, Ijaye, where he was residing at the time.

However, Alebiosu said his return to the mosque did not end his spiritual struggles. Instead, he claimed that he began having experiences that he found difficult to explain.
The actor alleged that whenever he went to the mosque on Sundays, he would see what he believed were angels entering and leaving the mosque.
He said the experience confused him because he could not confidently tell anyone what he was seeing without fearing that people might misunderstand him.
Alebiosu also recalled occasions when people would approach him and tell him that he had failed to do something they believed God had instructed him to do.
The actor said these experiences made him question his situation, particularly because he had returned to Islam at his mother’s request.
He eventually decided to return to church, saying his experiences had become too difficult for him to ignore.
Alebiosu’s revelation has generated discussion about his personal religious journey and the experiences that shaped his eventual decision to embrace Christianity again.
