The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna, has released the list of successful and reserve candidates admitted into the 78th Regular Combatant Course (78RC), with selected candidates scheduled to report for training on September 12, 2026.
The Academy made the announcement in a statement signed by its Registrar, Brigadier General O.A. Ogunleye, following the Armed Forces Selection Board exercise held from July 4 to August 19, 2026.
Successful candidates are to report at the NDA Ribadu Campus, Old Site, Kaduna, on Saturday, September 12. The Academy warned that candidates who fail to report by Monday, September 14, will forfeit their admission.
Only candidates whose names appear on the selected list are required to report. Those on the reserve list may be invited to fill vacancies through their registered email addresses and telephone numbers.

The NDA said successful candidates must present the original copies of all required academic and personal documents, including First School Leaving Certificates, WAEC/NECO results, Senior Secondary School Testimonials, Birth Certificates or Declarations of Age, Letters of State of Origin and duly endorsed Parent/Guardian Consent Forms.
The Academy stressed that candidates who fail to produce the stipulated original documents will not be admitted.
Beyond their credentials, candidates are expected to arrive with specified clothing, footwear, sportswear, bedding and other personal effects required for training.
The NDA also directed successful candidates to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB portal and accept their admission through JAMB CAPS before reporting. Candidates offered admission into departments different from their preferred choices are required to effect the necessary change on the JAMB portal.
The Academy further cautioned that newly admitted cadets will not be allowed to receive visitors or leave the Academy during the first three months of training.
The NDA urged successful candidates and their parents or guardians to strictly comply with all admission and reporting requirements to avoid losing the opportunity.
