NNMS URGES GRADUATES TO EMBRACE DISCIPLINE, DILIGENCE

IKOT NTUEN, AKWA IBOM, August 15, 2026 — Graduating students of the Nigerian Navy Military School (NNMS), Ikot Ntuen, Akwa Ibom State, have been urged to make discipline, diligence and good character the foundation of their future endeavours.

The charge was given by the Chairman of the School’s Governing Board, Rear Admiral Jonathan Mamman, during the institution’s 4th Speech and Prize-Giving Day.

Mamman, who also served as the Special Guest of Honour, urged the graduands to regard their graduation as a stepping stone to unlocking their potential and achieving their aspirations.

He noted that while academic qualifications could create opportunities, good character and discipline were essential for sustaining success.

The Governing Board Chairman commended the graduands for their commitment, dedication and academic excellence, describing their achievement as a reflection of their determination to succeed.

He encouraged them to remain committed to continuous learning, hard work and a positive attitude as they move into the next phase of their lives.

According to him, determination and perseverance would enable them to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

Mamman urged the graduands to uphold the values instilled in them at the Nigerian Navy Military School and remain worthy ambassadors of the institution wherever they find themselves.
