They Almost Squeezed Me To Death – Portable Begs Tinubu, Seyi For More Money

Nigerian singer Portable has complained about the heat and overcrowding at an APC rally in Lagos, appealing to President Bola Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu to increase his payment for attending the event.

The rally took place at Onikan Stadium on Tuesday in support of the Tinubu-Shettima political ticket.

Videos from the gathering showed Portable entertaining supporters and moving around the venue during the campaign activities.

However, the singer appeared exhausted in a viral clip, where he was seen lying on the floor and demanding to meet Tinubu and his son before leaving.

His manager, Babylov, attempted to persuade him to get up as they prepared to depart.

Reports said Portable fainted amid overcrowding at the rally.

Despite confirming that he had been paid for his appearance, the singer argued that his participation had taken a physical toll and deserved extra compensation.

He expressed frustration over the conditions at the stadium, saying the crowd had almost squeezed him to death.

“I want to see Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu; they have almost squeezed me to death. I have fainted; it is Tinubu that is winning,” Portable said.

He then called on the president to increase his payment, adding, “Tinubu, pay me more money; I am feeling so much heat.”

The incident has become a subject of online discussion following the circulation of the footage.
