‘I Don’t Smoke Or Drink’: Blessing CEO Reacts To Drug Allegations

Relationship expert and internet personality Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has broken her silence on allegations that she uses drugs, firmly denying the claims.

Blessing CEO addressed the controversy during a live broadcast with Nollywood actress and politician Doris Ogala following her release from detention.

The allegations gained traction on social media while the influencer was behind bars. Some users accused her of drug use, while others cautioned members of the public against sending her money, alleging that any financial assistance could be used to purchase drugs.

Other commentators argued that she needed rehabilitation instead of donations.

Reacting to the claims, Blessing CEO said many people were making assumptions about her personal life without having any direct knowledge of her habits or lifestyle.

She insisted that she neither takes drugs nor smokes or drinks alcohol, adding that partying is also not part of her lifestyle.

“I don’t do drugs. I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t even party. Most times the internet just have a way of enjoying their self. A lot of people don’t even know me personally,” she stated during the conversation.

Her response has brought renewed attention to the online debate surrounding her personal life and the criticism she faced during her detention.

The influencer’s release followed months of detention over three separate fraud-related cases filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

In June 2026, she was arraigned over allegations involving property transactions and donations she reportedly received after claiming to have stage four breast cancer.

The alleged amounts involved in the cases are ₦36 million, ₦69.15 million and ₦13 million.

Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges. Her denial of drug use is separate from the pending fraud-related proceedings.
