Ace Nigerian comedian and actor Okey Bakassi has dismissed rumours of a divorce, declaring that his marriage remains intact despite reports circulating online.
The entertainer reacted after an online publication alleged that his wife had relocated to the United States to study nursing while he remained in Nigeria, financially supporting her education for 15 years before she allegedly requested a separation.
Bakassi described the report as fake news in a video shared on his social media platforms.
He said the publication had caused unnecessary concern, prompting friends, relatives and fans from different parts of the world to contact him and his wife for clarification.
According to the actor, the report emerged while he was on set filming a new movie with colleagues.
