The Oyo State Police Command has reportedly arrested an Indian national, Harjit Singh, and two security operatives over the alleged assault of Nigerian truck drivers at the premises of Karma Agric Feeds and Foods Limited in Ibadan.
The incident reportedly followed a disagreement involving a truck and its parking, during which the Indian national was captured in a viral video allegedly flogging the drivers.
The police were reported to be investigating the incident as of October 14, 2026.

The incident has raised concerns about the treatment of Nigerians by foreign nationals operating in the country.
While every allegation must be properly investigated, no business dispute justifies taking the law into one’s hands. Every individual, regardless of nationality, is expected to respect Nigerian laws and the dignity of others.
